Glimmer Nights Holiday Light Show

Glimmer Nights returns for the 2026 holiday season at The Farmers’ Museum in Cooperstown, NY. If you’re planning a winter visit to Central New York and want to add one of the region’s best after-dark light experiences to your itinerary, here’s what to know — and where to stay nearby.

Come and experience the magic of Glimmer Nights at The Farmers’ Museum! Get ready to be amazed by the spectacular light show as you stroll through the country village. The event will run from November 24 to December 30, on Thursdays through Sundays from 5:00-8:00pm. Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $10 for juniors (3-17), $13.50 for member adults, and $9 for member juniors (3-17). Children 2 years old and under can enter for free. You can purchase tickets online or walk in if there’s still space available during that particular time slot. However, it’s recommended to purchase your tickets online to guarantee entry. Note that tickets are non-refundable, but you can modify the date and time of your visit if there are available openings, and you are not changing the quantity of tickets.

The Farmers’ Museum is located at 5775 NY-80, Cooperstown, NY 13326. Parking is available near the museum, and signs will direct you to the nearest spots. Please arrive at your reserved time and be ready for a walking tour that may take 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your pace. Dress warmly and wear comfortable footwear for being outdoors, as the event runs from 5:00-8:00pm. Restrooms are available outside the Crossroads Café and near the Admissions Desk at the Museum’s front entrance.

Photography and video for personal use are allowed on the Museum grounds. Please share your photos and video on social media and tag the Farmers’ Museum! Pets, sleds, and weapons of any kind are not allowed on the Museum grounds. The event is wheelchair accessible, but note that paths may be muddy, wet, icy, or snow-covered. Some light installations may include motion lighting and music. Grounds transportation will not be available. For questions regarding accessibility, please contact [email protected].
