Stay Active During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Despite the closure of local gyms across the country, it’s now easier than ever to stay active and healthy at home.  A number of national chains have opened their online platforms to non-members, or are posting suggested workouts on their websites.  We’ve put together a list of our favorites here:

Anytime Fitness

Anytime Fitness is offering free daily workout videos, accessible on its Facebook Page.  Each workout has a different theme and some are suitable for the entire family.


Check out YMCA: 360 — a newly launched list of free at-home workout videos. They offer a wide variety of workouts, including Boot Camp, Barre, weightlifting, Tai Chi and kids’ classes.

Snap Fitness

Snap Fitness has an outline of several at-home workouts on its blog. As an added bonus, there’s also links to healthy recipes and mental health exercises.

Yogaworks is offering live-streaming classes throughout the day to help you relax and rejuvenate from home. Classes average 60 minutes and they are free to everyone, including nonmembers. You can choose from several different classes, including a Tots & Tykes Yoga class for crawlers to 4-year-olds.
